The EASE Course

EASE is a free course for members of the public in Scotland who want to be better equipped to help friends or family who are caring, dying, or grieving. It was developed by the Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care (SPPC).

Throughout 2026, Curious Mortals will be working alongside SPPC to help deliver more courses across the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board and recruit more trainers.

Past Events

Demystifying Death Week

We have been supporting Demystifying Death Week since 2021, hosting a range of events in our local community.

Whether we are out in nature painting stones or making seed bombs, these are wonderful opportunities to strike up conversations with strangers about something that affects us all. It has been wonderful to share stories of the people we miss, whilst also giving us a chance to explore our own relationship with death and what we might want to happen when the inevitable finally happens.
To Absent Friends Festival
As winter draws near, it is lovely to spend time together reminiscing about the lives of others and the impact they have had.

Our Community Remembrance Trees have become a familiar sight in November, delicately sharing the stories of our loved ones, one leaf at a time.

Yoga For The Dead
with The Kali Collective

The Kali Collective has been hosting Yoga for the Dead for a few years, and in 2024, they invited us to be part of this wonderful workshop.

Combining music and movement, together we create a space where we can get comfortable with the uncomfortable, reflecting on our own lives and those who have gone before us.

Check out the Kali Collective website for details of future workshops.
